is the perfect remedy for the busy pace of modern life.

Retreat to our luxury barn studio where you can fling open the barn doors and look out over the aquifer-fed pond with a cup of tea in bed. Later in the evening, sit in front of the fire enjoying views of the vineyard and distant St Bathans and Dunstan mountain ranges while you treat yourself to our wine, served in the best restaurants around the world.

Open-plan, enjoy a king-sized bed, stunning central fireplace, ample lounge, kitchenette and river stone tiled wet room bathroom. We’ll leave breakfast goodies to make your mornings relaxed and luxurious.

While the studio has wifi and a Bang & Olufsen sound system, we’d recommend taking the opportunity to disconnect with your busy life and reconnect with yourself and nature.

Since it is a working vineyard, there are some comings and goings as we set about our viticultural work. On occasion when there is a frost event in spring or autumn, the wind machines on this vineyard, indeed the whole valley, may come on with a low-whirring hum. We’ll leave earplugs in the bedside draw in case this awakes you.

Fully equipped studio with king size double bed, sofa, dining table and chairs, open fireplace, kitchen with simple stove top, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker or stovetop, CD and audio player, underfloor heating,  washing machine, hairdryer, connected bathroom with pebble stone floor, outdoor patio with dining table and private tennis court with tennis rackets.  Complimentary wifi.

Driving up the poplar lined driveway and then seeing the gorgeous stone barn was like entering another world. Inside the accommodation was tastefully decorated, so warm and inviting with the stone heated flooring and the fire place centred on a huge glass window overlooking the land with the Bathan Range covered in snow was magical.
The barn was just so cosy with everything you could need to just get away from it all. Annika and Silke provided a generous supply of gourmet breakfast goodies which kept us well fed. Would love to spend more time here as a perfect winter retreat to enjoy, walking, fishing, reading and just unwinding. A perfect spot

We stayed in the lovely barn studio for a week and it was fabulous. Comfortable, stylish and private but access to the pond for swimming and larked about on the tennis court. The barn was fully equipped and had everything we needed including waking up with fantastic views. Perfect for a quiet get away, very attentive hosts and total relaxation in a beautiful setting.

We loved our stay at the vineyard. The accommodation is so personable - luxurious but not stuffy. Most of our days involved at least one walk around the vineyard followed by a swim in the pond looking out at the mountain ranges. Perfect location to explore Central Otago - after a few nights in Queenstown we felt we were able to experience the best of the region and then retreat to our ‘barn’ every night and really relax.
