Retreat to the barn studio where you can open out the barn doors and look out over the aquifer-fed pond with a cup of tea in bed. Later in the evening, sit in front of the fire enjoying views of the vineyard and distant mountain ranges while you treat yourself to our wine, a pure expression of this site.
Open-plan, enjoy a king-sized bed, stunning central fireplace, underfloor heating, lounge with a floor to ceiling window view, kitchenette and river stone tiled wet room bathroom. We’ll leave breakfast goodies to make your mornings relaxed and luxurious.
A working vineyard, there are some comings and goings as we set about our viticultural work. On occasion when there is a frost event in spring or autumn, the wind machines on this vineyard may come on with a whirring sound. Whilst we close the studio for guests during high frost risk periods we sometimes experience an unseasonal frost event and leave earplugs in the bedside draw to keep you sleeping.

Our studio is equipped for comfort with a king size double bed, sofa, dining table and chairs, open fireplace, kitchen with simple gas stove top, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker or plunger coffee, CD and audio player, underfloor heating, washing machine, hairdryer, connected bathroom with pebble stone floor, outdoor patio with dining table and private tennis court with tennis rackets. A large swimming pond. Complimentary wifi.

“Driving up the poplar lined driveway and then seeing the gorgeous stone barn was like entering another world. Inside the accommodation was tastefully decorated, so warm and inviting with the stone heated flooring and the fire place centred on a huge glass window overlooking the land with the Bathan Range covered in snow was magical.
The barn was just so cosy with everything you could need to just get away from it all. Annika and Silke provided a generous supply of gourmet breakfast goodies which kept us well fed. Would love to spend more time here as a perfect winter retreat to enjoy, walking, fishing, reading and just unwinding. A perfect spot”
